STD's  are caused by sexually transmitted infections. They are spread mainly by sexual contact. STIs are caused by bacteria, viruses or parasites. A sexually transmitted infection may pass from person to person in blood, semen, or vaginal and other bodily fluids

STD's can be cured with a round of anti-biotics.

3. Where can I get tested for STD's?

You can get tested for STD's at your local GP or sexual health clinic.

4. Where can you get contraceptives?

At a sexual health clinic, your GP, most drug stores like boots or Superdrug, you can buy condoms at most shops like Asda's or Morrisons.

5. What are characteristics of good sexual health? 

Having good self-awareness, being educated on safe sex and reproductive health and open communication.  

3. How do you prevent STD's?

Wearing the male or female condom, limiting the number of sexual partners you have and avoid any type of sexual intimacy.
