Are you ready for sex?

Its very important to discuss with your partner if you want sex to become part of your relationship. It doesn't have to be awkward or embarrassing. Discussing this can help you prepare whether its with buying condoms or start birth control (if you go to your local GP they can provide variations of birth control).

making the decision to have sex is a very big decision that nobody should feel pressured or manipulated to do something they don't want to do.


Age of consent

In the UK the age of consent if 16, this is to help prevent young children getting pressured and taken advantage of. It is also illegal in the UK for anybody over the age of 18 to have a sexual relationship with somebody under 16.

sexual abuse and assault

Sexual assault is a violent, unexpected, traumatic, and sometimes life threatening experience, this can lead to life changing disorders like PTSD this is why its very important to tell anybody if you get raped or sexually assaulted.
